Hair Product Battle ~Natures's Gate Herbal and Aloe Vera Conditioner~

Nature's Gate states that this product: Effectively conditions hair while helping to enhance texture, shine and radiance. Hair is revived with a unique blend of Water Lily, Lotus, and Oak Bark used for their amazing conditioning benefits. Soothing Chamomile, Lavender and Cherry Bark leave hair soft, silky and smooth, making this the perfect conditioner for everyday use.

The Ingredients in this product are: Water, Cetearyl Alcohol, Quaternium-87, Polysorbate 60, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Urtica Dioica (Nettle) Extract, Prunus Serotina (Wild Cherry) Bark Extract, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Flower Extract, Arctium Lappa (Burdock) Root Extract, Yucca Schidigera Root Extract, Lilium Candidum (White Lily) Bulb Extract, Nelumbo Nucifera (Sacred Lotus) Flower Extract, Quercus Alba (Oak) Bark Extract, Butylene Glycol, Glyceryl Undecylenate, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance, Caramel.

My Review of this Conditioner: I LOVE this conditioner! I personally believe that it does what it is intended to do based off the results from my hair. My hair texture has become more defined with beautiful curls. The color of the conditioner is brown and has a very unique natural smell that I love. This product conditions well with No buildup and can be used on any hair type.~BONUS!~It lasts for a really good amount of time and is Only $5.99 at the Whole Foods Market :).
I give this product an A!
~I do recommend this product, however my recommendation is based off of my results. Please keep in mind what may work for me may not work on your hair type.~ Happy Product Hunting!

Nature's Gate states that this product: Effectively conditions hair while helping to restore moisture. Your hair will be deeply hydrated with Aloe Vera and Panthenol (Provitamin B5) for enhanced body and bounce. Wild Pansy and Coffee help shield against environmental stress so your hair will feel soft, supple and have plenty of healthy shine.

The Ingredients in this product are: Water, Cetyl Alcohol, Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice, Hordeum Distichon (Barley) Extract, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Panthenol, Coffea Arabica (Coffee) Seed Extract, Viola Tricolor (Wild Pansy) Extract, Sesamum Indicum (Sesame) Seed Oil, Tocopherol, Stearalkonium Chloride, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Butylene Glycol, Citric Acid, Potassium Sorbate, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance.

My Review of this conditioner: I just purchased this product from The Whole Foods Market yesterday. I am almost out of my Nature's Gate Herbal Conditioner and I wanted to try another conditioner to review and overall just to see how the other conditioners would work for my hair. So with the help of my sister I decided to go with the Aloe Vera Conditioner. I Co-Washed my hair the same night and I must say I am In LOVE with this conditioner as well! It's honestly a tough call for me on which one is better than the other. While washing my hair I can not describe the level of softness I received! My hair gets soft with the Herbal conditioner, However my hair immediately got VERY VERY soft with the Aloe Vera Conditioner. I can definitely tell that this is a moisturizing conditioner.~BONUS~ This conditioner keeps hair hydrated and protects against environmental stress, which is wonderful because the environment can have some negative affects on hair.
I give this product an A!
~I do recommend this product, however my recommendation is based off of my results. Please keep in mind what may work for me may not work on your hair type.~ Happy Product Hunting!

Overall I really Love both of these products! It's really hard to say which one is better than the other. So I have come to the conclusion that both of these products are equally GREAT it just comes down to which conditioner do you prefer based off of what works best for you, what your hair needs to be more healthy, and what you believe to be most important in a conditioner. These products are similar in some ways but they do have their own unique and individual benefits. I hope this review helps anyone that is looking for a conditioner to add to their regimen. Happy Product Hunting!

In LOVE with my hair

Hey Everyone! So I seriously LOVE my hair! My texture is improving and my curls are becoming more and more defined..I am sooo very happy to be experiencing this wonderful Natural Hair Journey it is indeed a great experience. I'm so happy I finally got to the point to make the BOLD decision to cut my hair off without that much new growth of hair. I hope anyone that is still transitioning or the individuals that have done a BC are just as excited and have no regrets about embarking on this journey. I promise you it may seem hard some day and you may have one of those days that temp you to just get a relaxer but tough it out and stick to your decision. There are so many inspirational videos and people in the natural hair community that can help you to get past those discouraging days. I hope you all have a positive and exciting journey into the wonderful world of the Natural Hair Community.

Peace, Love, and Nappiness

It's Nicki...Ms. Minaj

Influenced by the unpredictable rhymes of Missy Elliot along with the sexually charged attitudes of Lil' Kim and Foxy Brown, Queens native Nicki Minaj was discovered thanks to her MySpace page. It was there that Dirty Money Entertainment CEO Fendi first heard her ability to freestyle and first laid eyes on her steamy set of promo shots. With killer curves she was obviously proud to flaunt plus a background in the performing arts thanks to the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music and Art -- the school that had inspired the movie Fame -- Minaj was a perfect fit for Fendi's urban DVD magazine, The Come Up. She appeared in numerous volumes, including number 11, which spotlighted her future label boss, superstar rapper Lil Wayne. Through Fendi, Wayne contacted Minaj and signed her to his Young Money label. They began to build her career through mixtapes like Lil Wayne's Dedication 3 and Minaj's own Sucka Free. Meanwhile, appearances on various remixes -- everything from T.I.'s "No Matter What" to Jeffree Star's club track "Cupcakes Taste Like Violence" -- helped spread the word. The big breakthrough came when Wayne added his rhymes to her "High as a Kite" single, a mixtape favorite in 2008. (Copyright, AOL)

Nicki Minaj just recently did a Photo shoot for YRB. This shoot definitely shows how she continues to define her overall look. Her journey as a female rapper continues to evolve. Her debut album Pink Friday is set to release this month. Her new single Right Thru Me is a cool song that reflects a different side of her. Stay tuned to see what else Nicki...Ms. Minaj has in store..In the meantime check out her latest video Right Thru Me..

Kinky Curly Knot Today Leave In/ Detangler

Hey Everyone! I was shopping in Target after work Tuesday and I was looking at the Kinky Curly Products. I wanted to buy a new leave in to rotate with my Paul Mitchell Leave In so I decided I would try the KinKy Curly Knot Today. As soon as I made it home I immediately washed my hair so I could try it out. After Co-Washing my hair I put about a nickel size amount of the KCKT. I knew I wasn’t going to use this product as a Co-Washing conditioner because it is absolutely NOT big enough to do so...So after I put the product in my hair I was ready to style…I got a quarter size amount of KCKT and rubbed it into my hair…FAIL!....LOL OMG as soon as I put the product into my hair I had this weird dry/hard feeling hair...It was terrible! It was so bad I went and washed the product out of my hair LOL…I grabbed the target bag and receipt and went to return the product and I got my money back. 100% refund…=)…I Do Not recommend this product but you never know...what doesn’t work for me may work for you. So if you’re willing to pay $12.00 then go for it and let me know how it works out for you =)

Natures Gate Herbal Shampoo & Conditioner

This is a review on Natures Gate Shampoo and Conditioner. I bought these products from the Whole Foods Market about a week ago and I must say I really LOVE them. The conditioner feels amazing in my hair when I am Co Washing my hair. I can tell that this is a product that my hair is pleased with already! As for my Herbal Natures Gate Shampoo I really LOVE this Shampoo as well, I use it when I want to get rid of some product build up in my hair. The Shampoo felt great when I massaged it into my hair, which is wonderful because usually Shampoo makes my hair feel rough. I usually do not use Shampoo because of the rough feeling it gives my hair but I'm comfortable with using the Natures Gate Shampoo. Both of these products get two thumbs up in my book. They feel great, absorb well into my hair, there are no harsh chemicals, and the best thing of all is that they only cost $5.99 each at the Whole Foods Market! There is also a wonderful selection of other Natural Hair products and I'm excited to try out more in the future.

Hope everyone has a Great Day!

2 Different Opinions about Miss Jessie's Hair Products

These two videos show reviews on The Miss Jessie's Hair Products. I am still Not convinced because there are so many Positive and Negative Reviews and I would hate to purchase these products and not like them. The price is not in a cheap range to buy and not work. So I can't convince myself to try these products as of now. I hope these videos help you in some way. Enjoy :)
